Terms and Conditions

1. Deposit and Booking
1.1. By paying the £50 deposit, you agree that this deposit is non-refundable. The payment of this deposit constitutes a binding legal contract between you and Mobile Clutch Repair.
1.2. The acceptance of the booking is entirely at the discretion of Mobile Clutch Repair. Once the deposit is paid, the booking is confirmed for a specific clutch replacement service only. We do not diagnose vehicles, and the booking is made based on the information provided by you. No additional questions or diagnostics will be conducted.
2. Payment Terms
2.1. Payment for the clutch repair must be made immediately upon completion of the service.
2.2. We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Card payments (subject to a 3% processing fee)
- Bank transfer
2.3. Full payment must be completed before the release of the vehicle. Non-payment will result in legal action, including small claims court proceedings, where additional charges will be applied.
3. Presence During Service
3.1. A person authorized to speak on behalf of the vehicle owner must be present at all times during the service. This is required for safety reasons and to ensure that any immediate decisions can be made without delay.
4. Liability and Responsibilities
4.1. Mobile Clutch Repair does not accept responsibility for any damage caused by rusted bolts, parts, or components that may break or fail during the repair process. This includes, but is not limited to, rusted bolts and starter motors that may not function after being removed and replaced.
4.2. We take all necessary precautions to prevent damage; however, we are not liable for unforeseen issues arising from the condition of the vehicle’s parts.
4.3. We reserve the right to record all jobs for quality assurance, training, and legal purposes. These recordings may be used in the event of a dispute.
5. Clutch Warranty
5.1. The clutch warranty provided is a 12-month or 10,000-mile parts warranty supplied by the parts supplier only.
5.2. The warranty does not cover a burnt-out clutch, which can be easily assessed.
5.3. The warranty does not cover the labor charge to remove and refit the clutch.
6. Cancellations and Rights
6.1. Mobile Clutch Repair reserves the right to cancel any job at any time. In such cases, if the service is canceled by us, a full refund of the deposit will be provided unless the cancellation is due to a breach of these terms by the customer.
6.2. We take non-payment seriously. Failure to make payment upon completion will result in immediate legal action, including small claims court proceedings. Additional charges, including legal fees and interest, will be applied in such cases.
7. Acceptance of Terms
7.1. By booking a service with Mobile Clutch Repair and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
